If you are willing to sacrifice pulling power in exchange for pulling speed, then consider the Portable Gas-Powered Capstan Winch PCW5000-HS, which is a high speed version of the PCW5000.
The Portable Winch PCW5000-HS High Speed model offers you the ability to pull smaller loads up to 700 lbs. in weight, but you will be able to pull much faster at a rate of 120' per minute.
Perfect for industrial, forestry, hunting, marine, vehicle and boat, and search and rescue operations. This winch is very useful for bringing down hung trees, pulling heavy wooden logs, pulling boats out of the water, pulling wire through conduits, moving animal carcasses, moving large rocks, getting vehicles out of the mud, and much more.
The PCW5000-HS Portable Winch can be used with any length of Double Braided Polyester Rope, as long as the minimum diameter is 3/8" and maximum diameter is 5/8". Since the PCW5000-HS Portable Winch uses a capstan drum design, there is no limit to the length of rope that can be used. All you need to do is tie the rope to the object needing to be pulled, then wind the rope around the capstan drum 3-4 times. While the engine runs, the drum will turn continuously and the friction produced by the pulling force on the free end of the rope will pull the object. As long as the engine keeps running, the capstan drum will always turn.
Lightweight weighing only 35 lbs., the winch is easily carried and allows access into areas where most other types of machinery are just too awkward to fit in and manuever. The included 6' polyester sling allows for the winch to be fastened to an anchor point. Other optional accessories are available to allow the winch to be attached to other anchoring points, like trees, posts (PCA-1263), and vehicle ball hitches (PCA-1268).
Note:
The PCW5000 Portable Winch is designed only for pulling purposes. Do not use for lifting. Also, any length Double Braided Polyester Rope can be used with this winch, as long as the minimum diameter is 3/8" and maximum diameter is 5/8".
